Charity Poker Tournament to Benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma
I’m excited to announce that we will be hosting two no-limit Texas Hold-em tournaments this summer in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Because it’s a series, everyone who participates will be awarded points based on their standing at the end of each individual tournament. After both tournaments have been completed, there will be additional prizes awarded to those players with the most points. Also, for the first time ever, we will be accepting credit cards for re-buys.
The first tournament will be held at the Vortex Midtown on Sunday, June 12th at 1 P.M.The buy-in is $35, and re-buys are available for $25 during the first 3 blind levels. In addition to the prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, we’ll have a raffle for gift certificates to local businesses.
